California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It describes how Legal Giant Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information, and explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

1) Scope

This California Privacy Notice applies to California residents (“consumers”) and describes our practices regarding “personal information” as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

2) Categories of Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers

Name, email address, phone number, IP address, online identifiers, and similar identifiers.

Internet / Network Activity

Device information, browser type, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, and interactions.

Geolocation Data (Approximate)

Approximate location derived from IP address (e.g., city/state).

We do not intentionally collect certain categories of personal information unless you provide them (for example, details you include in an incident description).

Depending on how our advertising and analytics tools operate, certain disclosures may be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information under California law. California residents may have the right to opt out of such “sale” or “sharing.” See Section 8 below.

If you provide information to request to be contacted or connected with a provider, we may disclose your information to that provider to fulfill your request.

6) Sensitive Personal Information

We do not use or disclose “sensitive personal information” for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA/CPRA (e.g., to provide services requested by you, security, and fraud prevention). If this changes, we will update this notice and provide applicable choices.

7) Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the context of collection.

8) Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may have the right to:

  • Access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you (subject to exceptions).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To exercise your opt-out rights, submit a request using the methods in Section 9. You may also configure your browser/device privacy controls (where supported) to communicate an opt-out preference.

Response timing and verification requirements may vary based on the type of request and applicable law.

10) Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. We may require proof that the agent is authorized and may also require you to verify your identity directly.

11) Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights, such as by denying services or providing a different level or quality of service, except as permitted by law.

12) Minors

The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
